Special thanks to: Sam Cardwell, Ken Davis, Larry Talley and Bob Learmont for constructing an amazing ramp for Lynne Aubrey. Thanks to the Men’s Club for furnishing the materials.
When Jesus modeled humble service for his disciples, he knelt before them and washed their feet.
When Jesus wanted to convey the criteria for how our lives will be evaluated in the end, he told a parable of the Last Judgment. Those invited into the eternal joy of God’s kingdom were those who fed the hungry, gave the thirsty a drink, clothed the naked, cared for the sick and visited those in prison. “Because,” he said, “When you do it to the least of these, you do it to me.”
When God chose to reveal the nature of Divine Love, Jesus came among us to incarnate that Love in word and deed.
Those of us who belong to Lebanon First United Methodist Church seek to do what Jesus did: incarnate Divine Love in word and deed.
There are many ways we do it. Most of them are with other churches.
We believe that one of the ways we witness to Christ is through our respect and cooperation with others.
When we become a member of the Church, we promise our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness.
